The rough overview:

Currently I am freelance filmmaking and art directing. My strengths are storytelling, editing and post production though I love every single aspect of film production. I am currently working on several projects nationwide and internationally.

Previously I was with AOL Video and Radio where I was an interactive developer/UI designer concentrating on CSS, XHTML, AJAX and prototyping. Cool stuff!

I have also been busy working on a number of film projects including directing several shorts and music videos while forming the groundwork for launching Elevate Pictures - keep an eye open for that!

For the previous 3 years I was COO and a founding partner of Monster Interactive. MI began as an interactive agency with a concentration on email marketing and rich media development, particularly in video streaming. Around the middle of 2002, MI became a technology company based off a concept I had developed called Expression. Expression essentially is a set of extremely easy-to-use tools for non-technical users to access and share their content, personal or purchased, with anyone, anywhere on any device. Imagine watching half a movie at home and then the remainder of it at the airport on a cellphone – welcome to Expression. Our target markets included broadband providers and content owners/agrigators. Expression has yielded a solid IP portfolio with a number of patents in pending.

My roots are in the creative industry including both online and in film. I have an in-depth background in online fields pertaining to web site design and development, online advertising creative and media buying. I have been a part of pioneering new rich media ad formats and the methods in which they collect data for reporting.

In the film industry I have taken part in both pre- and post-production with a number of directors and producers on both the east and west coasts. My skills range from concepting, storyboarding, and scene/character development to directing, editing and compositing work.

I am a creative thinker with a taste for science. Problems intrigue me. I love to build on a solution and make it better. I learn quickly and use knowledge gained on-the-fly to stake a position and extend a strategy from that point. I love playing with numbers, forecasting and looking to beat expectations. Being ahead of the curve is a constant drive. I have a talent in the arts which flows into a passion to creatively apply solutions to any situation.

I am married to a wonderful wife, have an awesome son and a gorgeous daughter here in Columbus, Ohio. I attended The Ohio State University and Columbus College of Art and Design where I studied Fine Arts, Marketing, Film and Illustration respectively.
